Tracheocutaneous Žstula is a frequent sequel of long-term tracheostomy or tracheal fenestration. Closure of Žstula is complicated by the presence of extensive scar tissue, mucopurulent secretions, and tension from insufŽcient advancement of adjacent soft tissue.
